The adjournment will enable organizing the event in total safety while preserving its international character, facilitating travelling between countries and maximizing business opportunities. The organization is hoping for a scenario in which it will be easier for buyers coming from non-EU countries to comply with safety requirements enforced by the Government.
“We are aware of the increasing need that operators have to meet in person, and we are confident that the new date can lead to the desired results”, concluded Paolo Borghini, Director of MICAM Milano, in a letter to the exhibitors.
MIPEL, the international event for leather goods and accessories, and THE ONE MILANO, the haut-à porter show, will also be held from the 13th to the 15th of March. HOMI Fashion & Jewels Exhibition, the event dedicated to fashion jewellery and accessories, will partially overlap these dates, taking place from the 11th to the 14th of March.
Lineapelle, on the other hand, remains scheduled from the 22nd to the 24th of February, with more than 900 exhibitors registered from 32 countries.
