Zalando and Nike strengthen long-term partnership
The German-based online retailer announced a new step in its strategic partnership with Nike with the introduction of a new membership programme in ten European countries

"As the Starting Point for Fashion and Lifestyle, we want to provide customers with best-in-class experiences and flawless choices. Engaging in this new connected partnership we strengthen our efforts to best serve Zalando customers with Nike's innovative sport lifestyle footwear and apparel, compelling connected member benefits and distinctive experiences", he added.
Customers in Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, France, Belgium, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Italy, and Poland will be able to access a selection of products available to Nike members only by connecting both accounts. Thus, the resulting onsite experience will enable them to shop a wider selection of Nike footwear and apparel on Zalando's website directly. According to the release, this partnership reflects the mutual passion for innovation of both companies, which share similar values of sustainability, diversity and inclusion.

The experience will gradually roll out through the several countries, starting with Austria in October.
