Upcoming edition of CICB to focus on traceability in the leather's value chain
The CICB Sustainability Forum 2023, scheduled to take place on the 8th of March, at the Fimec fair, in Novo Hamburgo, Brazil, will discuss the paths for traceability in the leather industry
Throughout a series of lectures and debates on several links in the production chain, the CICB Sustainability Forum intends to bring together a range of suppliers and customers, for whom leather is a main pillar in their sustainability strategies, to share traceability tools and solutions for products in the fashion, automotive, furniture and other industries.
The attendance of representatives of the Brazilian Beef Exporters Association (Abiec), the Brazilian Agriculture and Livestock Confederation (CNA), tanneries and technology companies for the compliance of raw materials (from livestock to industries) has already been confirmed. “It will be an opportunity to learn about Brazil's status in the area of traceability, the horizon for improvement and results on this topic and the services in use around the world for deliveries to market demands”, explained the organization in a statement.
Taking place on the 8th of March, from 2 pm to 5 pm, during the 46th edition of the International Fair of Leather, Chemical Products, Components, Machines and Equipment for Footwear (Fimec), in Novo Hamburgo (RS), the event will benefit from the dynamics created with the public visiting the trade fair.
