Theo Henkelman Footwear acquires Bullboxer European trademark rights
The Dutch footwear group Theo Henkelman Footwear has acquired the European trademark rights to the Bullboxer brand from The Unlimited Footwear Group, which went into bankruptcy earlier this year
The portfolio of the Unlimited Footwear Group (UFG) continues to be split up. After new owners for Nubikk and Rehab Footwear, Bullboxer joins the exodus, with Dutch footwear group Theo Henkelman Footwear acquiring the footwear brand’s European rights. It is not known how much money is involved in the takeover.
“We are delighted to have acquired the Bullboxer brand rights for Europe. The Bullboxer brand will be a strong and reliable partner in the footwear industry”, commented Theo Henkelman, CEO of the company.
The new owner has stated that it intends to maintain Bullboxer’s heritage, quality and price point, “while developing innovative approaches to further strengthen the brand’s success and expand its market presence”. However, Theo Henkelman Footwear has indicated that it intends to focus on the brand’s B2B business and transfer its B2C activities to a strategic partner.
