The brand was created within Liftcolor Unipessoal, Lda, a Portuguese-based company from Santa Maria da Feira, one of the historic regions for footwear manufacturing in the country
Step 5 was born out of the passion and ambition to create a company fusing handcrafted quality with advanced technology.
The roots of the company go back to the production of children’s footwear for the highly demanding Nordic markets, which resulted in superior quality standards applied to the all stages of the manufacturing process.
By using a mixture of aesthetics, innovation, technology and know-how to present high quality footwear for women and children, the company excels in meeting the highest customers’ requirements, one of its standing out features.
The company used the most modern technology, which gives them the most flexible production requirements and allows them to manufacture any type of footwear, casual or sports for women and children using different assembly systems.
