Sorel brand's President steps down
Columbia Sportswear has announced that Mark Nenow has resigned from his role as President of the Sorel Brand due to health reasons. The search for a successor is underway
Nenow joined the company in 2007 to lead footwear, recognizing the opportunity to transform Sorel from a brand primarily focused on men's winter work boots to a “fashion forward” women-focused brand. He became President of the brand in 2015 and has led it to consistent year-over-year growth.
According to Columbia's statement, under his tenure, Sorel established itself as the second-largest brand in its portfolio. “Mark led the brand to sales of 347 million US dollars in net sales in 2022. His leadership has been invaluable to this company, and we wish him the very best”, added Tim Boyle, Chairman, President and CEO of the company.
Craig Zanon, Senior Vice President of Emerging Brands will lead Sorel as the search for a successor continues.
