Silvia Onofri appointed as the new CEO of Miu Miu

The Italy-based Prada Group has announced the appointment of Silvia Onofri as CEO of its Miu Miu brand. She was president of VF Corp-owned outerwear brand Napapijri until January
Silvia Onofri’s appointment as CEO of Miu Miu will take effect on the 26th of February, and she will report to the CEO of Prada Group Andrea Guerra. The position has been vacant since Benedetta Petruzzo left in October to join Christian Dior Couture as managing director.
She joins the Prada Group from VF Corp-owned Napapijri, where she was brand president from February 2023 to January 2025. She was credited with repositioning the brand in the marketplace and appointing its first global creative director, Christopher Raeburn, the British designer known for his sustainable credentials.
Her professional background also includes six years at Bulgari and 15 years at Bally, where she rose to become CEO of EMEA and then Chief Commercial Officer of Global Wholesale.
She is now charged with maintaining Miu Miu’s strong momentum. In the first nine months of 2024, the brand’s revenue rose by 97% year-over-year to 854 million euros.
