Puma releases sneaker infused with nitrogen foam
The German-based company has launched Extent, a sneaker inspired by the brand's archive of 2000s long-distance running shoes whose midsole features an innovative nitrogen-infused foam
Extent's highlight is its newest nitrogen-infused foam, which, according to the brand, makes the sneaker "extremely lightweight, highly springy, and soft".
The model varies according to its colourways, as each one features a different material mixture, such as the use of neoprene and engineered mesh panels on some versions, while others include a more classic application of nubuck and suede. Its deconstructed look intends to show "the process of designing and sampling through raw materials and unfinished elements, like the stitched details and utility laces", added the brand in a statement.
Puma's new sneaker is already available online and in selected retailers.
