Puma named Global Top Employer in 2023
The German-based sports company has been named global Top Employer 2023 by the Top Employers Institute, receiving also the award for four regions and twenty-two countries
After a comprehensive survey conducted by the Top Employers Institute, a certification programme that enables organisations to assess and improve the workplace environment, Puma was given this award for the first time in North America and Latin America, while in the Asia Pacific and Europe regions was a second and fourth time winner, respectively.
"We are very grateful to be recognized as a Top Employer in 22 countries, four regions and also globally for the first time. We offer an inclusive and attractive workplace and aim to constantly improve to give our people what they need to thrive in their careers", commented Dietmar Knoess, Global Director of People and Organization at Puma.
The sportswear company claims to offer its staff a fair work environment and equal opportunities, regardless of who they are or where they are from. To date, "people from 75 nationalities work at Puma's headquarters" and globally "44% of leadership positions are filled by women", underlined in a statement. Additionally, employees have access to several services and benefits intended at enhancing their health and wellbeing, including flexible working hours for a better work/life balance.
