Prada appoints new brand CEO
The Italian-based luxury group has announced that Gianfranco D'Attis will become the Chief Executive Officer of the Prada brand from the 2nd of January 2023
Gianfranco D'Attis, whose last role was as President of Christina Dior Americas, has held senior management positions of increasing responsibility throughout his career. He will now be responsible for the strategic development of the Prada brand in every market and will report to Andrea Guerra, who will assume the position of CEO of the Prada group also in January.
"His proven experience in the luxury sector, with a specific focus on Retail, will help Prada to increase its growth potential in all geographies", highlighted the group in a statement.
D'Attis and Guerra's appointments follow Miuccia Prada and Patrizio Bertelli’s decision to step back as co-CEOs of the Prada group, which includes the Prada and Miu Miu brands, while ensuring a smooth transition.
