Pou Sheng strengths partnership with Nike in China
Yue Yuen’s retail subsidiary Pou Sheng International has boosted its cooperation with Nike to offer a more convenient and personalized omnichannel retail experience
The companies have decided to bring together their expertise in retail operations and digital innovation to meet the increasingly diverse consumer demand in China. Thus, they will connect their membership systems to upgrade Pou Sheng’s digitally-enabled stores, which will allow consumers shopping in Pou Sheng-operated Nike stores to unlock products, offers and experiences exclusive to members that, so far, had only been available in Nike’s directly operated stores.
Concerning the future of the partnership, “the two companies will continue to explore the boundaries of retail innovation, jointly creating premium Nike membership services through digital empowerment to reach a wider range of Chinese consumers that will enable them to enjoy Nike's premium services simultaneously no matter online or offline, through direct sales or wholesaler shopping networks”, it can be read on the statement.
Currently, Pou Sheng operates Nike stores in over 300 cities in China, attending to roughly 150 million consumers every day.
