Paradigma opens store in Porto
Since October, Rua Sá da Bandeira, in downtown Porto, is hosting the first own store of Paradigma, a Portuguese footwear brand
With over 25 years of experience and accumulated know how, Paradigma focus on producing high quality shoes, using the Blake system. All models use the highest quality materials, with a particular preference for leather. While making each model, dozens of manual operations are executed, combining traditional manufacturing methods with the most avant-garde technology.

With the factory located in Guimarães and a showroom in in Vila Nova de Famalicão, both cities less than one hour drive from Porto, Paradigma is now opening its first store in downtown Porto.

However, the space is much more than just a shoe store as the brand managed by Emilia Pinto sells much more than just shoes: "When I started designing shoes for the brand I could not think just in the feet. To aim at selling only shoes was not enough, as this wasn’t enough to explain the concept behind the brand”. Going from shoes to accessories was the natural step for the company, which has focused on strategic partnerships to create a true male paradise. From ties to cufflinks, Paradigma has now created a real range of options for a modern and comfortable style.

"In the last three years there has been a strong investment in the brand. We realized that we could offer more to the market: we could offer a lifestyle. Our shoes come to life when the environment is right, and we want to present them the way we would like them to be used", said Paulo Ferreira, responsible for the brand.

The location of the store within downtown Porto was another logical step: "We needed to have a physical space to display the Paradigma world. The store had to reflect the spirit of the brand, while it was still intimate and had a story to tell. We wanted it to look and feel like a house. "

The launch of an online store and the expansion of industrial facilities are the next projects for Paradigma.
