Panorama is moving to Tempelhof Airport
The Berlin-based trade fair is relocating to Tempelhof Airport from January 2020 onwards, together with Selvedge Run
In a recent release the organisation of the event said: "In light of the far-reaching changes sweeping through the fashion industry, the relevance of conventional trade fair formats as we know them is being questioned. Panorama Berlin established itself as the leading tradeshow of Berlin Fashion Week in a very short time. And parallel to this, a plethora of additional purchasing channels have emerged for consumers in the retail sector in the last decade, both offline and online. Today’s consumers want to feel that they are understood and that they are being met halfway when it comes to their values and attitudes".
Bearing this in mind Panorama believes it is no longer possible to continue with the same thing, and under the motto Rebel with a Cause the Berlin trade fair wants to present progressive labels that "will keep an eye on consumer needs" while moving to a new location.
Earlier this week it was also announced that Jürgen Putzer is the new Marketing Manager at Panorama Berlin. In his position as Head of Marketing & Communication, the 53-year-old will be responsible for the entire Marketing strategy of Panorama Berlin.
Jürgen Putzer's responsibilities include marketing, creation and PR, focusing in particular for steering the strategic reorientation of Panorama Berlin and promoting the fair profile of exhibitors and visitors.
