The Seattle-based department store chain has named Lisa Price as Chief Human Resources Officer. She returns to Nordstrom after serving in the same role at Domino’s Pizza since 2019
At Nordstrom, Lisa Price is expected to support all aspects of human resources, including recruitment and succession planning; learning and development; recognition and retention; diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging; and total rewards. The appointment will be effective from the 6th of November.
She joins Nordstrom from Domino’s Pizza, where she has been Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer since August 2019. But between 2015 and 2019, Price served as a member of Nordstrom’s human resources team, most recently as Senior Vice President of Human Resources. Previously, she spent more than 20 years at Starbucks, supporting the company's rapid growth and global expansion in a variety of human resources roles.
“With nearly three decades of experience driving and creating culture for large global organizations and previous experience working at Nordstrom, Lisa understands that the success of our business starts with our people”, commented Erik Nordstrom, Chief Executive Officer of Nordstrom. “Great customer service begins with a great employee experience, and I'm confident that Lisa's expertise will be an asset to our team. We look forward to welcoming her back to Nordstrom”.
