Niketown to open in Dubai
Nike will upgrade its retail offering in Dubai in 2018. A Niketow flagship store should open in the region next year
The sportswear’s giant is planning to open a Niketown in Dubai Mall sometime next year, although official confirmation is still lacking.
The new location is expected to include a Nike lab store, featuring limited edition collaborations and other rare footwear and clothing and an area for the Jordan brand.
Once this opening is confirmed, Dubai will become the ninth city in the world to acquire a Nike Lab, joining Milan, London, Tokyo, Chicago, Paris, New York, Shanghai and Beijing.
The new Niketown store is expected to be one of the brand’s biggest globally, surpassing the one located in London, currently the largest one with approximately 42 000 square feet over four floors.
