At its next edition GDS - Global Destination for Shoes & Accessories in Düsseldorf (Germany) will present new locations, the latest trends and the Best of Bloggers
New Locations
The POP UP area has found a new home in hall 10. There visitors can now also find the catwalk. Here, the GDS Fashion Shows are providing information on the latest trends. The scene area, RICHTIG WICHTIG, is also relocating to hall 10 and is celebrating its second run this time which will be “very British”: London calling is the motto for the new season.

The Highlight Route running through the three GDS Lifestyle Worlds doubles as a stage for special product stagings and events. The catwalk in Hall 10 will host fashion shows and serve as a stage for innovations from individual brands. Add to this the STUDIO Show featuring current trends from the Premium segment.
The Trend Spots in Hall 5 have been grouped into a separate area providing important information on seasonal trends for S/S 2016. Here trends are featured in an atmospheric setting that strikingly illustrates design objects and colours in distinct visualisations. The Forum Touch is a contact point for visitors to both see and touch seasonal as well as cross-seasonal innovations and materials. Here all types of material categories such as leather and textiles can be researched. The Forum is an information pool for textures and surfaces.

Furthermore, the trade show will also dedicate a whole day to the numerous fashion bloggers. In cooperation with online fashion magazine styleranking the forthcoming GDS will provide an exciting programme: centre stage on Friday will be the FashionBloggerCafé Shoedition. Nina Schwichtenberg, alias “Fashiioncarpet”, is the new GDS blogger testimonial. As an inhabitant of Munich by choice, she inspires thousands of followers online with her looks. As a “Shopping Queen”, we were already able to experience the 24-year-old in TV. During GDS, Nina Schwichtenberg will be reporting live on the latest trends and fashion statements of the coming season. This time, once again, 150 fashion bloggers are expected to attend the get-together with booties, bags and blogs at the FashionBloggerCafé “Shoedition”.
