Marco Gobbetti confirmed as CEO of Ferragamo
The Italy-based luxury group has confirmed the appointment of Marco Gobbetti as Chief Executive Officer and General Manager of the luxury company until the end of 2026
At the last shareholders’ meeting, Ferragamo confirmed that Marco Gobbetti would remain in office for the duration of the current board of directors, which ends on the 31st of December 2026. The executive currently holds 134,766 shares in the company, which is listed on the Milan Stock Exchange.
Gobbetti joined the Florence-based luxury group from Burberry in January 2022, succeeding Micaela Le Divelec Lemmi. He had been in the role since July 2017. Earlier in his career, he was CEO of Moschino and later spent 13 years at LVMH, where he was CEO of Givenchy.
Leonardo Ferragamo was also confirmed as Chairman and Angelica Visconti, daughter of the late Fulvia Ferragamo, as Vice Chairman. Pierre La Tour, who recently joined Ferragamo as Alessandro Corsi’s successor, was also confirmed as Chief Financial Officer.
