Majority stake at Obuca Beograd sold
This follows a previous unsuccessful attempt to make a deal with the Zemun-based company
Serbia's Ministry of Economy confirmed a contract was signed with Belgrade-based footwear manufacturer UNO for the sale of 70% of shoe company Obuca Beograd for roughly 175 thousand euros.
The stake at the company, which has been undergoing a restructuring process, was sold in a public auction.
A previous attempt to sell Obuca Beograd at a starting price of 264 000 euros attracted no buyers at the time.
