Macy's plans to reopen 68 stores on Monday
The American department store chain is re-opening 68 stores on Monday in states that reduced coronavirus lockdown restrictions. Macy's plans to re-open more stores in the upcoming weeks
The Wall Street Journal is reporting on Macy's plans to re-open their stores.
The company's Chief Executive, Jeff Gennette, said he expects the company's approximately 775 stores reopen along the upcoming 6 weeks if projections for the decreasing infection rate are effective and if the local and state Government rules allow it.
Macy’s will be among the first “non-essential” retailers to start to re-open its physical stores. Macy's should have another bunch of 50 stores re-opening on the 11th of May.
