Lululemon boosts footwear segment with two new appoints
Shortly after launching its first footwear line, the company announced that Simon Atkins will join in as Senior Vice President (SVP) of footwear, and Phil Dickinson as SVP, global creative director
Simon Atkins will be responsible for developing and executing the brand’s global footwear strategy and business, overseeing the category’s innovation, development and merchandising teams. The executive spent more than 25 years in various senior-level roles at adidas, most recently as senior vice president and general manager of the sportswear brand’s global basketball and the US sports business.
Phil Dickinson, as the new SVP, global creative director, will be in charge of shaping the brand’s global creative strategy, bringing to Lululemon more than 20 years of experience in creative leadership roles. Earlier in his career, he spent 15 years at Nike, being credited with leading the brand’s growth in football and the wider sportswear categories.
