Lazuli, Portuguese inspiration
The Portuguese tile and its rich history as a decorative element perpetuating the Portuguese tradition is the starting point for Lazuli's inspiration
Lazuli is a Portuguese brand of footwear and accessories born when the company Shoelutions, a footwear manufacturer based in Santa Maria da Feira in the north of Portugal, decided to launch its own brand.
Combining tradition and modernity, history and sophistication, Lazuli intends to reflect the essence of the tiles by telling real stories through their collection of women's footwear. The brand created in 2014 was born out a strong will to produce shoes with a distinctive personality and that would represent the Portuguese identity. And the inspiration was found in the Portuguese tiles.
Creating shoes that can be used on a daily basis, Lazuli, considers the shoe to be much more than a mere garment or accessory: each Lazuli model is developed with all the dedication and attention to detail, focusing on quality, comfort and design.
The brand was created having in mind the young women (ranging from 25 to 45 years old), but is aimed at all dynamic women with charisma, sense of humour and owning a free spirit.
Focusing on versatility, the collection is segmented into three lines, which allow for different styles at any time: a segment of models for formal moments, a line of footwear targeted for leisure and relaxation and a third line with models marked by irreverence details, more avant-garde and bolder. All lines are quite different but present a consistent identity.
The brand’s main goal is to explore the cultural element the most, while growing into new markets and clients. Lazuli is already present in stores in Portugal, Saudi Arabia, US, Germany and the Netherlands.
