The Coolest Kids, Childs Play and Kids Just Wanna Have Fun are some of the slogans that mark the latest campaigns developed by APICCAPS, the Portuguese Footwear Association, to promote this segment. The aim of the initiatives is very clear: to increase exports, reach new customers and new markets.

Portuguese exports of children's shoes increased to a total of 85 million euros in November 2020. Thus, the potential for growth is very significant. “The children's footwear sector is a very specific and demanding segment. With the know-how of Portuguese companies and a strong capacity for development, we can make a difference in this very demanding segment”, commented Luís Onofre, APICCAPS President.
