Kevin Bailey appointed Global Brand President of Vans
VF Corporation has announced the return of the veteran executive to the brand, after holding several leadership roles at VF. He will replace Doug Palladini, who has occupied this position since 2006
When the brand was acquired by the group, in 2004, Kevin Bailey was named Vice President of Retail for Vans. Later, from 2009 to 2016, he was appointed President of Vans, leading the brand to more than double its revenue to 2.2 billion US dollars.
“Kevin brings a deep level of knowledge and understanding of the Vans brand, its consumer, and the global business to this role. He will work closely with the Vans leadership team and our enterprise functions as we focus on re-energizing the brand’s global growth”, stated Steve Rendle, President and CEO of VF Corp.
The executive, which has been at VF Corp for 17 years, has held a series of leadership roles in the company. Most recently, he was VF’s President, Asia-Pacific Region and Emerging Brands, being responsible for the brands Altra, JanSport and Smartwool on a global basis. He also served as President of VF’s Action Sports Coalition, and the company’s Canada, Mexico, and Central/South America businesses.
