Kering might be considering Puma’s sale
Luxury group Kering has appointed the financial services group Rothschild & Co. to handle the potential sale of Puma, the sportswear brand from the group’s portfolio
Puma has been acquired by Kering back in 2007, in a strategy of the luxury group to diversity its business and portfolio, which includes Gucci, Bottega Veneta and Yves Saint Laurent, key names from the luxury industry.
Back in the summer, in different occasions, Kering’s management representatives have confirmed that there were no plans to sell Puma. However, with the involvement of Rothschild & Co the plan might be different now.
