JD Sports appoints Dominic Platt CFO
British sportswear retailer JD Sports Fashion has appointed Dominic Platt as its Chief Financial Officer, replacing Neil Greenhalgh who is stepping down in the summer after four years in the role
Dominic Platt, currently CFO of digital distributor of financial services BGL Group is taking over a similar role at the sportswear retailer house. JD Sport's Chief Executive Officer Régis Schultz has the ambition to become the brand an athletic leisurewear "powerhouse" and Platt is joining the team to pursue it.
"Having worked closely with Dominic before, I am certain his financial expertise, deep knowledge of governance, and strategic counsel will be crucial in helping to drive forward the next chapter in the global growth story of JD", Schultz commented.
Current CFO Neil Greenhalgh, resigned last October, a month after Schultz was named CEO of the sportswear retailer.
