Italy: expectation is for trade fairs to restart from July onwards
According to Italy’s Industry Minister Giancarlo Giorgetti trade shows should resume its activity in July. The events have been suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic
The Italian government has confirmed the existence of grants to support the trade fair industry with a total value of 400 million euros. However, the funds will have to be approved by the National Parliament.
The announcement of the resume of the trade fairs activities comes as the government plans an easing of the COVID-19 restrictions from the 26th of April onwards.
