ISPO Munich teams up with Copenhagen International Fashion Fair

ISPO Munich and the Copenhagen International Fashion Fair (CIFF) have joined forces. For the first time, CIFF will be present at ISPO Munich with a partner stand, allowing for a greater fusion of sport and fashion

At the next edition of ISPO Munich, which will be held from the 3^rd to the 5^th of December 2024, CIFF will be represented by a partner stand, where Danish brands from the denim, sportswear and sneaker sectors will showcase their products.

As ISPO is traditionally a multi-segment trade fair focused on sports, this initiative reflects the recognition that sports and fashion are no longer two separate categories. On the contrary, the increasing convergence of sport and fashion is creating more business and growth opportunities.

“We are delighted to be working with CIFF, one of Europe’s leading fashion platforms. Sport and fashion continue to converge, and traditional boundaries are shifting, leading to exciting potential for brands and retailers that we would like to emphasize together”, said Tobias Gröber, Executive Director of Consumer Goods and Director of ISPO Group.

Gröber pointed out that “in the Scandinavian region in particular, sports and fashion brands have been influencing each other for decades, learning from each other and creating new materials, designs and innovations”. Therefore, ISPO Munich wants “to utilize this potential, support it together, make it visible and drive it forward”, he concluded.

A joint program for both press and trade partners is also planned parallel to the trade fair. In return, CIFF will welcome a selected number of ISPO Munich partnering brands to present the Danish AW25 Copenhagen Fashion Week at its 64th edition, scheduled to take place from the 28^th to the 30^th of January 2025 in Copenhagen.
