Inspiramais with successful digital edition
The event dedicated to fashion materials design was held between the 25th and the 27th of August in its first 100% virtual format. According to the organization, during the 3 days of Inspiramais the 150 digital stands received 40 thousand visits
Presented itself as the "link between the fashion industry and the companies providing them the materials" Inspiramais was held, for the first time, in a format 100% digital. The project took place from the 25th to the 27th of August with the mission to boost the creative process of the clothing, textiles, footwear, furniture, automotive, accessories and jewellery industries, in Brazil and in Latin America.
According to the organisers, in the three days of the event, Inspiramais received more than 40 thousand accesses in the 150 virtual stands, which generated 3 thousand business rounds. Among projects, lectures and product launches, 166 thousand pages were visited. The event was marked by virtual stands, presentation of colour charts, lectures, research projects and business roundtables.
“It was a milestone for the entire industry and it's been an incredible experience! Virtually enter a Design and Innovation Salon and participate in a tour, get to know the world references, hundreds of launches in innovation, sustainability and design, innovative projects, schedule national and international business rounds, attend lectures, contact with different companies. There are no borders, no distances. The whole world passed through here ”, commented Ilse Guimaraes, superintendent of Assintecal, the Brazilian Association of Companies of Components for Leather, Footwear and Manufactured Goods
For Fernando Pimentel, President of ABIT, the Brazilian Association of the Textile and Clothing Industry, “the online format has its advantages, as it expands the public, reduces costs and facilitates the integration of national and international participants. Of course, it does not replace personal meetings, but at a time when you have difficulty holding events with many people, it is certainly the best way for us to keep business running”.
José Fernando Bello, Executive President of the Center for the Tanning Industries of Brazil (CICB) concluded: “the leather sector in Brazil is experiencing Inspiramais Digital intensely, with the certainty that the convergence of the physical environment with the online brings positive results for all audiences, from the industry to the final consumer. We had three days of a very rich exchange of information and relationships at Inspiramais Digital, with a lot of innovation, agility and sustainability”.
