Silvana Dilly, superintendent of the  Brazilian Association of Leather, Footwear and Goods Components (Assintecal),  explained that the decision was motivated by the desire of including other Brazilian footwear centres in the event. After leaving Porto Alegre (Rio Grande do Sul), in January, the event will follow to Franca (São Paulo) and Nova Serrana (Minas Gerais), on the 15^th and 17^th of February, respectively.  According to the Brazilian Association of Footwear Industries (Abicalçados), in 2021, the footwear production took place, with significant representation, in 10 Brazilian states.

Regarding the option for a hybrid format, Dilly observes that the digitization of the market was prompted by the COVID-19 pandemic. She added, “I do not believe that in-person events will disappear, but the possibility of the digital is now a reality, and it allows companies to break barriers, especially international ones, more easily”.  Inspiramais will be broadcasted online.
