Harrods: world’s best performing luxury department store
The famous 170-years old luxury department store has proven its deep-rooted experience in the retail arena and scored in first ahead its competition
According to research compiled by architects Sybarite and analyst GlobalData, the high-end shopping destination owned by the Qatari royal family was identified as the luxury retailer with stronger sales per square foot.

Two other London-based luxury department stores, Selfridges and Liberty, are listed on the top five. The British luxury department stores benefit from the high-spending tourists looking for shopping opportunities when in London.
In the ranking’s second place was China’s SKP. Other high-end department stores in the top 10 included Fenwick and Printemps in France.
