Grendene's activities to be normalized
Starting today, the Brazil-based footwear manufacturer will restart its activities in all its units in the country, getting production up and running
The resumption of activities will be carried out in accordance with the Municipal and State decrees in force, the Controlled Distancing Model of the State of Rio Grande do Sul, and the Ceará State Plan for Responsible Resumption of Economic Activities and Behaviour.
Grendene has put in place numerous measures for protection of its employees, to combat dissemination of coronavirus as effectively as possible, and also ensure the safety of its clients, store operators and suppliers.
Among other measures, these include:
- Obligatory use of face masks;
- Measurement of the temperature of people when entering the company’s premises;
- Distancing between work positions;
- Availability of 70% alcohol gel at all work positions;
- Reinforced cleaning of all areas.
