Gola to enter Japan

Gola to enter Japan
The British-based footwear brand is entering the Japanese market with its Spring / Summer 17 collection
The entrance in the Asian market will be effective through a collaboration with Japanese distributor Madras Inc. The agreement will lead to the development of the label across the Japanese market, with a particular focus on Gola Classics’ Made in England collection. Through this partnership Gola products will be available in pop-up concessions in 15 departments stores across Japan.

The strategy will now be very focused on opening new concessions in key department stores and within fashion boutiques, making a wider range of products from its Autumn/Winter 2017 collection available in Japan by partnering with a larger number of Japanese retailers.

In the near future, the plan is to replicate the expansion throughout other Asian countries.
