Founded in 1986, Alberto Sousa, Lda. is a national footwear company dedicated to high quality casual and classic footwear for men and women. Continuous investment in technology, innovative concepts and design research have been present throughout the history of the company.

With a strategy mostly oriented to the external markets, the company has initiated an important milestone in their history in 2009 with the launch of Eureka Shoes, a network of stores. Currently, the company has 28 stores in major Portuguese cities and a shop in Luxembourg.

With a new dimension given to male and female footwear, Eureka Shoes offers high quality materials, attractive shapes and modern design. The brand is aimed at customers looking for uniqueness, from the most classic style, to the alternative, the casual or bold, and also the more sportive look.

The group has several other own brands in their portfolio, such as Filipe Sousa, Eureka Concept Collection, Mr. Sousa and Miss Julia. Filipe Sousa is aimed at male and female public looking attitude and uniqueness in their footwear and Eureka Concept Collection offers exclusive and limited collections. Mr. Sousa is specially aimed for sophisticated men who do not give up comfort and quality and Miss Julia for women who do not neglect details on a daily basis.

The collections signed by designers - the COxLABS - complete the portfolio of own labels of the company, showing what is best made in Portugal, in terms of fashion design. LIDIJA kolovrat X EUREKA, MARQUES'ALMEIDA X EUREKA and NUNO GAMA X EUREKA are brands designed in collaboration with these designers.
