Get to know Barbie by Cubanas
While celebrating her 56th anniversary, Barbie took off her high heels for the first time. Portuguese footwear brand Cubanas was a partner in this initiative and created a limited edition of heelless shoes
On the 9th of march, the most famous doll in the world commemorated the national day with no hells and as part of the initiative, a partnership between Barbie and footwear brand Cubanas was celebrated. A limited edition of 100 exclusive heelless shoes, consisting of a pink pair of boots with glitters and a sweet smell, was issued as part of the line Barbie by Cubanas.
The limited edition line of boots by Cubanas is not on sale for now. As part of the campaign, the new boots from Cubanas Shoes were offered by the brand to Portuguese TV hosts Ana Rita Clara and Raquel Strada, actress Inês Aguiar and blogger A Pipoca Mais Doce, while present them with a challenge to put aside their high heels.
Fashionistas, fashion lovers and Barbie fans will also have the opportunity to participate in a Facebook competition currently promoted by Cubanas qualifying themselves to win an exclusive model of the Barbie by Cubanas shoes and a Barbie Style Deluxe doll (sold separately these dolls will cost between 13.90 euros and 24.90 euros).
