Footwear brand Heydude launched in the UK market
The Crocs-owned casual footwear brand Heydude launched in the UK last month as part of its international expansion strategy to increase global brand awareness
Heydude was launched with a UK-specific website and is available in 191 retail stores, including Schuh and Kurt Geiger throughout the UK and Paul Byron in Ireland. The brand is known for its comfortable and lightweight footwear for men, women and children. Its best-selling styles comprise the ‘Wally’ and ‘Wendy’ styles, which feature fitted elastic laces, a removable foam insole and an extremely lightweight outsole, making them versatile and easy to slip on and off.
“We are excited to officially launch our Heydude brand in the UK market, introducing consumers to the same lightweight comfort and versatility that our rapidly growing US fanbase knows and loves”, commented Kelly Cortina, senior vice president and global chief product and merchandising officer of the brand.
“We know from internal data” – she continued – that “once consumers try a pair, they will purchase an average four pairs for themselves! We are confident our brand will resonate with the UK audience, and that they will love our product’s ease and timeless style”.
Acquired by Crocs in 2022, Heydude reported a revenue of around 950 million US dollars in 2023.
