Foot Locker relaunches FLX Rewards programme
As part of its Lace Up Plan, the US-based sportswear retailer has launched an enhanced FLX Rewards programme to transform the shopping experience for customers. A revamped mobile app will also follow
The enhanced FLX Rewards programme introduces FLX Cash, which allows customers to redeem points for exclusive discounts and offers (Xtra Savings). It also includes a range of member-only benefits, including priority access to anticipated sneaker launches and access to exclusive events and experiences (Xtra Access), as well as benefits such as free returns, upgraded birthday gifts and continued free shipping for members (Xtra Perks).
Designed to enhance the customers’ experience, this initiative is part of the company’s Lace Up Plan strategy to drive sustainable and profitable growth “Our enhanced FLX Rewards program represents a significant step in providing a seamless shopping experience for sneaker enthusiasts. Foot Locker also plans to launch a redesigned mobile app later this year to enhance its omnichannel transformation strategy. Key new features will include access to real-time product updates, improved search and filtering capabilities, as well as streamlined sign-in with biometric authentication, and seamless integration with the FLX programme. In addition, in early 2025, the mobile app will also feature a ‘Store Mode', allowing customers to scan product SKUs in-store and check availability, including sizes.
