Foot Locker names interim CFO
In addition to his current duties as Senior Vice President of investor relations and financial planning and analysis, Robert Higginbotham will undertake the role of interim CFO of Foot Locker
The decision will be effective from the 1st of March, following the departure of Andrew E. Page, who will cease to serve as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer as of today (the 28th of February). Back in December, the US-based retailer announced several changes to its leadership team, including the departure of its Chief Financial Officer and the appointment of a new one.
According to Foot Locker's filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission, “the Company continues to conduct a comprehensive search, with the assistance of a leading executive recruiting firm, to identify a successor Chief Financial Officer”.
Robert Higginbotham has served as Senior Vice President, Investor Relations and Financial Planning & Analysis since December 2022. Previously, from January through November 2022, he solely fulfilled the role of Vice President of Investor Relations. Before joining the Company, Higginbotham spent nearly twenty years on Wall Street as an equity research analyst and portfolio manager.
