Ferragamo opens new workshop near Florence
The Italy-based luxury brand Salvatore Ferragamo has opened a leather workshop in its Osmannoro centre, near Florence. This new facility will be focused on producing new products and researching new styles and materials
A group of experienced artisans will work alongside leather experts in the workshop, guaranteeing the expertise of master leather workers will be passed down to future generations, preserving the brand’s heritage and know-how.
According to Ferragamo, this workshop will be focused on cultivating the brands’ skills and “passion for innovation and research, while upholding our long-standing values of tradition and craftsmanship”.
The new workshop is equipped with the most advanced technologies machinery and allowing, such as energy-saving solutions (LED lighting and photovoltaic systems), which contribute to an utmost quality and efficiency in production processes.
