FDRA's new hires
The Footwear Distributors and Retailers of America announced the hiring of two new staff with strong political background. This move is being seen as a strong intention to work on tariffs elimination
The Washington DC-based entity announced this week they have hired former US Representative Sue Myrick as its key policy strategist and also congressional insider Thomas Crockett as the association’s director of government and regulatory affairs.
Sue Myrick takes with her decades of experience from a career developed in the US House of Representatives, which will contribute to increase the association’s brand name recognition in Washington.
Thomas Crockett, who worked in the office Congressman Spencer Bachus and as Legislative Counsel, will assist the FDRA with advocacy and regulatory issues impacting the industry.
Both have significant political background and their joining the FDRA is being seen as a strong intention to work on footwear tariffs elimination.
