Egypt extends fees on crust leather exports
Trade and Industry Minister Amr Nassar has extended fees on crust leather exports for one year more, starting on this month
The decision is meant to meet local demands for crust leather, said Dr Amany el Wassal, head of the agreements sector at the Ministry of Trade and Industry, adding that this should also help increase the value added of national products.
According to the same source, these fees, in applicance since 2017, have contributed to reducing prices of crust leather in Egypt and have positively reflected on final products.
