Ecco appoints Marc Martin as Head of Wholesale for Central Europe

The Danish footwear and leather group Ecco hired Marc Martin to oversee its wholesale business in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and the Netherlands

Together, we will accomplish great things”, shared Marc Martin, Ecco’s newly appointed Head of Wholesale for Central Europe, via his LinkedIn profile.

In his new role, Marc will oversee the wholesale operations across Germany, Austria, Switzerland (DACH region) and the Netherlands. His appointment aligns with the company’s strategic emphasis on strengthening its presence in these crucial markets. Before joining Ecco, Marc was Managing Director at Clarks, a UK-based footwear brand.

Martin’s career began in 2014 at Gabor in Germany, where he rose to become the Director of Sales & Marketing for the licensed brand Camel Active.

From 2019 to 2021, he served as Field Sales Manager for Timberland in the DACH region before joining Clarks, where he initially worked as Head of Sales for DACH & Benelux.
