Düsseldorf goes Shoes
The second edition of OUT OF THE BOX will take place during the GDS trade fair, between the 29th and the 31st of July
On Friday, 31st of July, that motto will read again: Come on in to the fascinating world of shoes and accessories. On the last day of GDS, the fair celebrates the Festival for Shoes and Accessories OUT OF THE BOX. Shoelovers can look forward to exciting events in the city center of Düsseldorf during the afternoon.
Director GDS Kirstin Deutelmoser said: “GDS is strictly a trade show. For consumers the show has no added value yet at this point of the season. Nevertheless, to involve end users in the action we have “given birth” to OUT OF THE BOX. We feel that shoes and accessories must be the talk of the town! To allow shoppers to experience the shoes and accessories theme first hand there is a host of entertainment and special activities organised in the Düsseldorf city centre designed to actively engage with them.”
Exciting activities in the city
The second edition of OUT OF THE BOX will once again show a multitude of diverse activities in the city in summer 2015. These are all about creating an experience – a festival encompassing exhibitions, special events in bars and restaurants and in the streets surrounding the Königsallee. The aim here is for consumers to have fun and for the retailers attending GDS to find some inspiration.
