Dr. Martens appoints non-executive director
The iconic British footwear brand has announced that Andrew Harrison will join the board of the company as an independent non-executive director, effective as of the 1st of May
Currently, Harrison serves as managing partner at the consumer brand investment company Freston Ventures, and is also a senior independent director at the providing technology for online grocery company Ocado Group, proprietor of the Ocado Smart Platform and joint owner of online grocer Ocado Retail Limited. At Ocado, he also chairs the remuneration committee and is the designated non-executive director for engagement with the workforce.
But more than two decades of his executive career were spent at Carphone Warehouse, where he served as chief executive and chair, becoming deputy chief executive after the merger with Dixons in 2014.

On joining the company's board, Harrison will also become a member of the audit, remuneration, and nomination committees.
