Deckers launches multi-brand eCommerce websites
The US-based company announced the rollout of the company's first multi-brand ecommerce platform in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region Style X Deckers
Decker's new service, which has over 100 SKUs (Stock Keeping Unit) of products from UGG, Teva, Sanuk and Hoka ONE ONE, is expected to launch in several APAC countries over the course of the current year. The company confirmed that Singapore and Australia have already gone live; Hong Kong will follow within the next few weeks and then Malaysia and South Korea.
The Style X Deckers website is expected to launch in New Zealand and Taiwan during 2016, with the remainder of the targeted APAC countries to follow in 2017.
"As overall retail sales in the Asia-Pacific region continue to rival those in North America and Europe, it is increasingly important for Deckers to provide Omni-Channel solutions that will strengthen our portfolio, increase brand awareness and create a destination for our digital-savvy consumers," stated John Kalinich, Senior Vice President of Omni Channel Operations and E-Commerce.
According to the brand the Style X Deckers platform includes several features that enhance the shopping experience for APAC consumers, namely cross-brand product search, considering all four brands in the portfolio of the company.
