Deckers appoints Robin Green as President of Hoka
The California-based company has appointed Robin Green to the role of President of the Hoka brand. She most recently served as global vice president of Men’s Running and Fitness at Nike
Green, who will report to Deckers CEO Dave Powers, has been tasked with driving Hoka’s continued growth, expanding consumer and athlete connections, and accelerating the product innovation pipeline in a dynamic global marketplace. She joins the company from Nike, where she most recently was Global Vice President of Men's Running and Fitness.
“Robin is a strong leader with a demonstrated ability to develop and execute on multi-year strategic, growth-driving initiatives for global performance businesses, and I am eager for her to leverage that expertise as part of Deckers”, stated Dave Powers, who recently announced his retirement in August.
Powers also highlighted that the brand “is in its strongest position to date”, so together with Green the company will focus on further building consumer awareness, maximizing and scaling product offerings and accessibility to exceed “the exceptional revenue milestones hit over the last year”. In fiscal 2023, Hoka’s net sales increased by 58.5% year-on-year to 1.41 billion US dollars.
“I am thrilled to join Deckers and lead the dedicated Hoka team to further unlock the potential of this outstanding brand. Hoka is delivering market share gains and record results at unparalleled levels for our industry, and we will continue to execute on the incredible growth opportunities ahead”, commented Robin Green.
