Deckers announces record sales
Net sales increased by 15.6% in the last quarter of the year reaching a new record. Annual net sales, up by 14.5%, also reached a new all-time high

In the fourth quarter, net sales increased 15.6% to a record 340.6 million US dollars, which compares to 294.7 million US dollars in similar period last year. On a constant currency basis, net sales increased 19.1%.

In 2014, accumulated net sales increased 14.5% to a record 1.817 billion US dollars compared to 1.588 billion US dollars in the previous year. On a constant currency basis, net sales increased 15.6%.

The UGG brand net sales for the fourth quarter increased 9.7% to 216.8 million US dollars compared to 197.6 million US dollars for the same period last year, mainly driven by an increase in global wholesale and distributor sales, higher global ecommerce sales. For fiscal 2015, UGG brand sales increased 12.6% to 1.49 billion US dollars.

Sanuk brand net sales for the fourth quarter increased 27.9% to 39.2 million US dollars compared to 30.7 million US dollars for the same period last year. The increase in sales was driven by an increase in domestic wholesale sales and higher international distributor sales. For fiscal 2015, Sanuk brand sales increased 13.1% to 114.7 million US dollars.

Teva brand net sales for the fourth quarter increased 13.4% to 53.1 million US dollars (46.8 million US dollars in the same period last year). For fiscal 2015, Teva brand sales increased 13.5% to 126.7 million US dollars.

Combined net sales of the company's other brands increased 60.9% to 31.5 million US dollars compared to 19.6 million US dollars for the same period last year. The increase was mainly attributable to an 8.8 million US dollars increase in sales for the HOKA ONE ONE brand. For fiscal 2015, combined net sales of the company's other brands increased 69.5% to 82.4 million US dollars.



For fiscal 2015, wholesale and distributor sales increased 12.9% to 1.2 billion US dollars, Direct-to-Consumer sales were up by 17.6% totaling 617.4 million US dollars.

During 2015 domestic sales were up by 10.2% reaching 1.165 billion US dollars, while international sales increased 23.0% to 651.7 million US dollars (compares to 529.7 million US dollars in the previous year). In constant currency sales increased 26.6% to 670.5 million US dollars.

Deckers expects fiscal 2016 constant currency revenues to be approximately 2.01 billion US dollars, reflecting a 10.5% increase over the twelve month period ended on the 31st of March. On a reported basis, revenues are expected to reach 1.96 billion US dollars, with an increase of 8%.
