Crocs appoints first Vice President and Global Head of Sustainability
The company named Deanna Bratter for the newly created role of Vice President, Global Head of Sustainability. The appointment reinforces Crocs commitment to achieve net-zero by 2030
Bratter is expected to bring her expertise into the new role, driving the company’s strategy to reduce its carbon footprint, enhancing commitments and impacts across environmental sustainability, social responsibility and corporate governance (ESG). She joins Crocs from Danone North America, where she held the role of Vice President of Sustainable Development/One Planet. Before, she led corporate sustainability for WhiteWave Foods.

The brand is already transitioning to incorporate sustainable materials across its iconic product lines and "remains focused on addressing its entire value chain". In addition, the famous clog-maker has said to be committed to exploring sustainable alternatives for packaging, identifying ways to give their products a second life, and investing in responsible resource use.
