Chinese footwear exports to Russia down by 35.9%
CLIA, the China Leather Industry Association, has confirmed that sales of China-made footwear to Russia have fallen by more than a third in the first 8 months of 2015
CLIA refers to data issued by the General Administration of Customs in Russia. Based on this source, the Chinese Association confirmed that turnover of Chinese footwear sales to Russia dropped by 34% in the first 8 months.
The same source indicated that total import value of Russia from Holland, British and France was down (in the area of 50% in value) and also from countries such as Germany, Italy, Japan and America (drops of roughly 40%).
