CEO and CFO leave Clarks suddenly
The UK-based footwear retailer has lost its Chief Executive and Chief Financial Officer who left business with immediate effect. No official reason is known
Melissa Potter and Robin Beacham stepped down from Clarks, a company with a distribution network of roughly 1 000 stores worldwide.
In the interim Non-Executive Chairman Thomas O’Neill will lead the business, whilst Group Financial Controller Mike Coley will be the temporary CFO.
Melissa Potter had been at Clarks for 27 years after joining as a graduate trainee in 1988 and she took on the CEO role in 2010. Robin Beacham has worked for the company for over 9 years.
Thomas O’Neill stated: “Melissa and Robin have helped to navigate Clarks through significant changes in the sector and turbulent markets conditions across the globe. We wish them every success in their future ventures and endeavours.”
