Caleres looks to grow internationally
Looking to expand globally, the US-based footwear company has strengthened its team with the appointment of Erika Mackoul as Senior Vice President of International
In this role, Mackoul and her team will work with Caleres’ brand portfolio leadership to identify and drive strategic growth initiatives globally, focusing on the company’s four leading brands - Sam Edelman, Allen Edmonds, Naturalizer and Vionic. She will report to Caleres president and CEO Jay Schmidt.

Erika Mackoul joins the company from Cole Haan, where most recently she was Vice President of Global Merchandising. In this position, she was responsible for product assortment across 500 stores in 92 countries, overseeing 14 product categories and leading the onboarding of 50 international partners. Furthermore, in her nearly 10 years at Cole Haan, “she held positions of increasing responsibility”, supporting the company’s international expansion. Previously, Mackoul worked in commercial and sales positions at Ralph Lauren/Club Monaco.
